Sherap Therchin is the Executive Director of the Canada Tibet Committee — Canada's leading Tibet advocacy organization. Over more than eight years of leadership, he has built a track record of turning grassroots advocacy into lasting policy impact at the highest levels of Canadian government.
A trusted voice in Parliament, Sherap has appeared before Senate and House of Commons committees on transnational repression, foreign interference, forced labour, and human rights accountability. His sustained work contributed to Bill C-70 protections and two unanimous House of Commons motions on Tibet.
